Description

A strong Class II spread towards the center shows on the letters of EPU, both of the dots, both of the upper wheat ears, and both of the wheat stems. Die Markers: Obverse: Two long die scratches run north from the top of the Y in LIBERTY. Die scratches run SW to NE through the G of GOD. A long die scratch runs north from the front of the eyebrow. Several die cracks run through the hair and forehead. Reverse: Long X-shaped die scratches can be found to the right of the upper left wheat ear. A die scratch runs north to south between the upper N and E of ONE. Several parallel die scratches run NNW to SSE through the upper left T of CENT. A short, strong die scratch runs north from the bottom left horizontal bar of the E in UNITED. Several die scratches run NNE to SSW to the left of the bottom of the P in PLURIBUS. Obverse:
