Cataloged by the Wexler Team as 1954 10¢ Pr WDDO-001, this proof Roosevelt Silver Dime carries multiple cross-references including CONECA 1-O-VI and Cherrypickers FS-10-1954-101 — a Fivaz-Stanton designation confirming its significance as a variety worth searching for in circulation and proof sets. Extra thickness is visible on the designer's initials JS (for John R. Sinnock), IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date, indicating a hub displacement that affected inscription elements across the obverse die face. Obverse die markers include a heavy die chip on the bottom of the 4 in the date — a substantial marker that aids quick field identification. Reverse markers include a light die scratch running east-northeast from the right center of the E in STATES through the last S in STATES, along with a small die chip in the field at the right center of the F in OF.
