Description
The 1944-S Doubled Die Reverse DDR-006 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1944 (S) Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1656 DMR-024 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: EMS (unconfirmed) Stage C: Reverse and Obverse are LDS Stage D: Reverse and Obverse are VLDS.
