The 1939 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-018 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1939 Proof Jefferson Nickel - Reverse of 1938, part of the Jefferson Nickels Original Design 1938-2003 series.
