Description
The 1939 Doubled Die Reverse DDR-005 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1939 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-1431 DMR-015 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: MDS (unconfirmed) Stage C: Reverse and Obverse are LDS. I need to see a specimen of this doubled die for new color photos and die stage information.
