Description
Doubling shows as an extra eyelid to the south. Die Markers: Obverse: A series of die scratches run NNW/SSE through the date. A series of die diagonal scratches show below IN. A series of diagonal die scratches run through GOD. A series of diagonal die scratches show on Lincoln’s upper temple. Concentric die scratches show below the ear. Mostly vertical die scratches show above the letters ERTY in LIBERTY. Light, horizontal die scratches show on Lincoln’s lower shoulder fold. Reverse: A concentric die scratch shows at rim, right of upper right wheat tip. A die clash line shows to the right of the E in ONE. A die clash shows through the lower C in CENT. Light, concentric die scratches run southeast from right edge of the T in CENT. Light, vertical die scratches run below the letters CA in AMERICA.
