Description
1937 WDDR-011 is a doubled die reverse on the 1937 Lincoln Wheat cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. EPU (E PLURIBUS UNUM) and the dots show extra thickness. Wexler notes no obverse markers. On the reverse, a worn gouge sits at the top right of the B in PLURIBUS, and another worn gouge touches UNUM's M at the middle of its left side. John Miller submitted the variety. CONECA lists it as 1-R-VI; the Coppercoins number is 1937P-1DR-004. Wexler's comments say this die's obverse is listed as WWHO-001 (CONECA 9-O-VI, Coppercoins 1937P-1DO-004), and that the markers are easier to see on the coin photographed for the Coppercoins listing.
