Description
The 1932 Indian Head Eagle represents a Philadelphia Mint issue from the Indian Head Eagles 1907-1933 series. Total mintage reached 4.5 million. The obverse features Liberty wearing a feathered Indian war bonnet, facing left, and the reverse displays a standing eagle with the mottoes E PLURIBUS UNUM and IN GOD WE TRUST. Philadelphia-only production. Eagles struck in the final years before gold coinage ended. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 16.72 grams, 27 mm in diameter, with a raised stars edge. Cataloged as PCGS #8884.
