Description
1928-S VAM-9 Doubled Motto Lower Right, Medium High S Discovered by Jeff Oxman, November 2006. 9 II 7 · B2b (Doubled Motto Lower Right, Medium High S) I-2 R-5 Obverse II 7– Doubled OD WE TR on lower right, slightly doubled back of lower hair, back of neck and designer’s initials. Die marker– Vertical polishing lines above and below rear hair strands. Reverse B2b– Micro I S mint mark set medium high. Die marker– Curved vertical polishing line above OL and short diagonal line on ray to right of lower olive leaves. Comments: 1. VAM 7A has same reverse markers as illustrated.
