=1926-S VAM-2C1 High S, Missing Wing Feathers, Shortened Rays= Discovered by Laurence Galbraith, May 2005. revised 2014 davidkclose 2C1(revised) II 1 B2b (High S, Missing Wing Feathers, Shortened Rays) I-3 R-5 Obverse II 1- Die 2 - LDS shows heavy die file lines between ERT and below IN GOD WE in attempt to remove die crack. Die 3 - Later last die with some light polishing lines. ''Die marker -'' Tiny die chips at rim below G in GOD. Reverse B2b- Die chip at top right of D in Dollar. Heavy die file lines in right field and near eagle's left wing to remove die clash marks with feathers missing from end of eagle's left wing. LDS has had further die filing with ray thru N in ONE is shortened on right side of N. High micro I S mint mark. Comments: 1. Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist.
