Description

ADC-10c-1918D-01 This is a strong die clash found on a 1918D winged Liberty dime. Due to the strength of the clash, it is classified as an Atypical die clash. The overlay provided shows the relative position of the dies when the event occurred. The olive leaves can be seen clashed in front of Liberty’s face in the picture below. The blade of the fasces can be seen out lined under Liberty’s chin. More olive leaves are seen clashed under Liberty’s hairline. The back of Liberty’s hair can be seen clashed into the olive leaves in the picture below. The front on Liberty’s face can be seen clashed into the olive leaves.
