The 1917 McKinley Memorial Commemorative Gold Dollar is a Gold Dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Classic Gold Commemoratives (1903-1926) series. With a mintage of just 10,000, this is a rare issue sought by specialists. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by Charles E. Barber/George T. Morgan. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 1.7 grams, 14.3 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #7455.
