The 1903 Louisiana Purchase Exposition Commemorative Gold Dollar - McKinley is a United States commemorative dollar. Issued in 1903 for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis. The obverse features a bust of President William McKinley facing left, while the reverse displays the denomination with an olive branch above the anniversary dates. Designed by Charles E. Barber. Struck in 90% gold, 10% copper, weighing 1.672 grams, 15 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #7444. With the Jefferson dollar it was one of the first two commemorative gold coins of the United States.
