1912 Atypical Die Clash ADC-50C-1912-01
Error
Description
ADC-50c-1912-01 This is a spectacular die clash found on a 1912 Liberty Head half dollar. Even though the coin is in a lower grade (VG-08), the clash marks left by the transer of design elements onto the opposing dies are extremely clear. It will more than likely rank as one of the strongest if not the strongest die clash found on U. S. coins. Another interesting item concerning this coin is the fact that it was “saved” from a bag of scrap silver coinage. The estimated value of this die clash is $700.00. LINK to Coin World article.
