Error
Description
The 1909 VDDR VDDR-045 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: Die crack upper Right wheat grains to rim – EDS Obverse is EDS Stage B: Second die crack upper Right wheat grains to rim – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-004 (Deep cut N, no V. D. B.) / RDV-003 (Shallow cut N, no V. D. B).
