The 1909 VDDR VDDR-043 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Reverse is EMDS Die crack head to rim through W of WE – MDS Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-004 (Deep cut N, no V. D. B.) / RDV-003 (Shallow cut N, no V. D. B).
