Error
Description
The 1909 VDDR VDDR-030 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Light die scratch from first S of STATES to N of CENT – MDS Die chip in upper B of LIBERTY – LDS Die crack along lower bust to rim Stage C: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-002 (Deep cut N, V. D. B.) / RDV-001 (Shallow cut N, V. D. B). Stage B Obverse is the same Obverse as VDDR-015, but in LDS.
