Error
Description
The 1909 VDDR VDDR-013 is a doubled die reverse (DDR) variety, where die hubbing misalignment produced visible doubling on the reverse design. This variety was discovered on the 1909 Lincoln Wheat Cent, part of the Lincoln Wheat Cents 1909-1958 series. Die markers: UVC-???? DMR-0?? Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die crack from upper Right wheat grains to rim – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: Die crack from lower Left wheat grains to rim – LMDS Obverse is LMDS Stage D: LDS (unconfirmed). Reverse is RDV-002 (Deep cut N, V. D. B.) / RDV-001 (Shallow cut N, V. D. B).
