Authorized for the 1905 Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition in Portland, Oregon, commemorating the famous 1804-1806 expedition that explored the American West from St. The obverse features a bust of Meriwether Lewis facing left, while the reverse displays a bust of William Clark facing left.
