Description
Discovery December 2024, Brent Fogelberg 24 III2 17 • C3l (Far Date, S Tilted Right. Doubled Arrow Shafts) (?) Obverse III2 17 - Date set right of normal position. ''Die markers'' - heavy scratch across cap ribbon below cotton leaf tip, polishing lines in LIBERTY and around cotton bolls. Reverse C3l - S mint mark set slightly to the right and tilted slightly to the right. Arrow shafts lightly doubled on bottom edge. ''Die markers'' - Scratch in middle of upper central leaf of first cluster on right side of wreath, lines in wing-neck gap and wreath bow. DPIS - LE4/C5 ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: 1891-S VAM-25, 1891-S VAM-24 Comments: # The reverse is polished down from VAM 25
