=1891-O VAM-9 Far Date, High O= Discovered by Edwin Miller, January 1970. 9 III2 4 C3e (O Set High) (181) Obverse III2 4 - Date set further right than normal Reverse C3e - Mint mark set high and upright. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The date is far, to the right of the normal position range. Though not in the description, it is slanted with the second 1 higher than the first 1. # The mint mark for 1891-O VAM-9 is set well above the position guide, but not as high as the C3i Very High Mint mark of 1891-O VAM-19.
