=1890-P VAM-23 Doubled Profile= Discovered by Mark Kimpton, April 2003. 23 III2 22 · C3a (Doubled Profile) (190) Obverse III2 22– Slightly doubled profile on nose, lips and chin. Date set in normal position. Bottom of earlobe very slightly doubled. DPIS - ;Emission Sequence :Obverse: :Reverse: Comments: # The doubling of the profile on this VAM is pretty pathetic. The example below was (last) submitted to LVA in July of 2023 - when it came back he mentioned it was the same coin I had sent him some years back and that it had not changed - it is STILL an 1890-P VAM-23.
