=1889-P VAM-8 Very Far Date, High 9= Discovered by Leonard Hinckley, February 1974. 8 III2 8 - C3a (Very Far Date, High 9) Obverse III2 8 - Date set much further right than normal. Open 9. High 9. Both 8's have die chips at top inside of lower loop. 9 has die chips at bottom inside of upper loop and top right inside of upper loop.
