1887-S VAM-19A Doubled 188, Die Gouges Star RI & 7 Discovered (as VAM 1A) by John Roberts, January 2010 on William Ennett's coin. Revised: 2011. Revised Feb. 2014 when 1A was eliminated in favor of VAM 19A. Brent Fogelberg 19A III2 13 - C3a (Doubled 188, Die Gouges Star RI & 7) (?) Obverse III2 3 - Later die state with two slanted die gouges out from denticles below first left star, one from denticles above RI in PLURIBUS and short line in denticle space below 7. DPIS –________. Emission Sequence; 1887-S VAM-19,1887-S VAM-19A Obverse: Reverse: Comments: VAMs 1887-S VAM-19 and 1887-S VAM-19A were both made with the exact same pair of dies.
