Description
Irregular doubling shows on EPU, spread CW on US of PLURIBUS and U of UNUM, towards the center on L, U, and I of PLURIBUS and NU of UNUM, towards the rim on B of PLURIBUS, and CCW on R of PLURIBUS. Traces of doubling also show above IN and on stars. Die Markers: Obverse: Open 3 variety. Die gouge in hair north of B in LIBERTY. 3 parallel diagonal die scratches inside lower-most curl of hair. Thin die crack between lower 7 and 3. Reverse: Die scratch from lower right A of STATES NNE to the rim.
