Description
Extending the conventional Seated Liberty half dollar into aluminum, J-1203 translates the traditional design into the exotic lightweight composition. An aluminum half dollar, large in diameter but almost weightless, creates one of the most striking physical sensations in the entire Trade Dollar era pattern program. The piece maintains the standard three-metal testing protocol even as the overall pattern program focused increasingly on dollar designs.
