Description
This bronze variety of the Judd-305 Washington portrait two-cent pattern is struck in a different metallic composition than the standard J-305 issue. This two-cent design shows George Washington facing right with the motto GOD AND OUR COUNTRY, with a reverse on which CENTS is more strongly curved than on the adopted coin; USPatterns reports that tests have found copper, bronze and copper-iron pieces under J-305. It is struck in copper with a plain edge. Catalogued as Judd-305, Pollock-370. Cataloged as PCGS #1008702.
