Description
1849 WOVD-001 is an overdate on an 1849 Seated Liberty half dime, listed by Wexler as 1849 H10¢ WOVD-001; Wexler reads the date as 1849/1848. Wexler cross-references it as Cherrypickers FS-H10-1849-303 and Valentine 1; no submitter is noted and photos are still needed. The underlying digits of the overdated 1849 half dimes are disputed: NGC attributes these dies as repunched dates by their Fivaz-Stanton numbers rather than as 1849/8 or 1849/6, and Greysheet lists FS-303 as a 9 over a so-called 8.
