Coin Details
Description
A 1795 Washington North Wales halfpenny with a plain edge. This is the standard edge treatment for North Wales halfpennies and the most commonly encountered variety. The obverse shows Washington's bust and the reverse features the North Wales design (typically a harp or similar motif). The plain edge is the simplest configuration and was the most economical to produce.
