Description
A 1794 Talbot, Allum & Lee cent with lettered edge and without "NEW YORK" in the design. TAL tokens were struck by Boulton's Soho Mint in Birmingham, England for a New York City import firm. The obverse shows a ship and the reverse depicts a seated figure of Liberty.

Moderately scarce. No New York variety.
