Description
A 1792 Washington President cent pattern with a plain edge and eagle reverse. This is the simplest edge configuration for the cent-sized Washington eagle reverse pattern. The obverse depicts Washington's bust with WASHINGTON PRESIDENT legend, and the reverse shows a heraldic eagle. The plain edge cent is one of several denominations proposed in the 1792 Washington coinage series.
