Description

A 1788 New Jersey copper with the horse's head facing left, the opposite of the standard right-facing orientation. Left-facing horse head varieties are quite rare in the New Jersey copper series and represent a distinct group of die combinations from the final year of production.

Rarity Notes

Scarce. Left-facing horse head is unusual for the series.
