Description

A 1787 New Jersey copper with the reverse legend E PLURIBUS UNUM misspelled as PLURIBS, omitting the final U. This is one of several legend error varieties in the New Jersey copper series. The misspelling was due to an error in the die sinking process.

Rarity Notes

Moderately scarce legend error.
