Description

A Brasher Doubloon with the "EB" hallmark stamped on the eagle's wing rather than the breast. This variety is slightly more available than the Breast Punch type but remains among the rarest and most valuable American coins. The doubloon was equivalent to a Spanish gold doubloon of approximately $15.
