Description

The only dated 1739 Higley Copper, produced after Samuel Higley's death by his brother John. Obverse features deer with "VALUE ME AS YOU PLEASE" and "1739" in the exergue. Reverse shows the broad axe with "I CUT MY WAY THROUGH." The latest-dated coins in the Higley series.
