About This Coin

The inaugural 2025 releases of the Comic Art Coin and Medal Collection feature DC Comics' three most iconic superheroes: Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Each character is offered in four formats — a half-ounce .9999 fine gold proof $50 coin from the West Point Mint, a 2.5-ounce .999 fine silver medal, a one-ounce .999 fine silver medal, and a clad medal sold as part of a three-medal set. Superman products launched on July 24, 2025, followed by Batman on September 25 and Wonder Woman on November 13. The gold coins are limited to 10,000 mintage per character, the 2.5-ounce silver medals to 25,000, while the one-ounce silver medals carry no mintage ceiling.
