Description

The 2025 (S) Proof Stacey Park Milbern Silver Quarter is a proof quarter struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the American Women Quarters (2022 - 2025) series. The U.S. Mint produced 165,809 examples, making this the lowest mintage among 25 mint variants, representing only less than 1% of total production. The obverse features George Washington facing right in a new dynamic portrait by Laura Gardin Fraser (her original 1931 design, finally adopted 90 years later) and the reverse displays unique designs honoring prominent American women who shaped the nation's history. Korean American disability rights activist and community organizer who co-founded the Disability Justice Culture Club. Final year of the program, featuring Ida B. Wells, Dr. Vera Rubin, Stacey Park Milbern, Juliette Gordon Low, and Harriet Tubman. As a proof issue, this coin was struck multiple times on specially prepared polished planchets using polished dies, producing mirror-like fields and frosted design elements prized by collectors. Struck at the San Francisco Mint, established during the California Gold Rush and now primarily producing proof and collector coins. Estimated market value ranges from $0 to $28 depending on grade and condition. Struck in 99.9% silver, weighing 6.25 grams, 24.26 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge.
