Description
The 2025 (S) Proof Juliette Gordon Low Silver Quarter is a proof quarter struck at the San Francisco Mint, part of the American Women Quarters (2022 - 2025) series. The U.S. Mint produced 165,809 examples. The obverse features George Washington facing right in a new dynamic portrait by Laura Gardin Fraser (her original 1931 design, finally adopted 90 years later), while the reverse displays unique designs honoring prominent American women who shaped the nation's history. Designed by Laura Gardin Fraser (obverse) / various reverse designers. Struck in 99.9% silver, weighing 6.25 grams, 24.26 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. The American Women Quarters Program (2022-2025) features five new reverse designs each year honoring the accomplishments and contributions of notable American women. The first rotating quarter program to use the Fraser obverse. Features trailblazers like Maya Angelou, Sally Ride, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Harriet Tubman.
