2024 (P) Zitkala-Ša Quarter - UFO Variety WUFO-001

Description

2024-P ZS WUFO-001 is a Wexler UFO (unclassified oddity) variety on the 2024-P Zitkala-Ša quarter (American Women series), cataloged by the Wexler team. Behind Zitkala-Ša's head, under the first diamond, Wexler describes a rectangular feature of unusually large size. Obverse markers: slight doubling in the lower hair detail; a crack across the nose's edge; a gouge left of the P mintmark, near its top; and a gouge in the hair under the L of LIBERTY. Reverse markers: a chip at the right concho's bottom; a gouge over the R of AUTHOR; a gouge near the rim over the T of UNITED; a gouge at the rim under the first A of ZITKALA; a gouge left of the first E of E PLURIBUS UNUM; between the tops of AMERICA's M and E, a gouge; and gouges touching the third ray and the eighth ray.
