The 2024 Greatest Generation Commemorative Dollar is a United States dollar from the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. In 2024, the Philadelphia Mint struck 49,950 of these dollars, uncirculated and proof together, by the Mint's figures. The obverse shows six figures, for the armed services and the Merchant Marine, holding up the Earth and the reverse four eagles holding a wreath inside a canopy of the National World War II Memorial. A modern issue from an era of rotating coin designs, collector-focused programs, and renewed interest in numismatic artistry.
