The 2024 (D) Zitkala-Ša Quarter is part of the American Women Quarters (2022 - 2025) series. Total mintage reached 170.2 million. The obverse features George Washington facing right in a new dynamic portrait by Laura Gardin Fraser (her original 1931 design, finally adopted 90 years later), while the reverse displays unique designs honoring prominent American women who shaped the nation's history. Designed by Laura Gardin Fraser (obverse) / various reverse designers. Struck in copper-nickel clad (91.67% copper, 8.33% nickel), weighing 5.67 grams, 24.26 mm in diameter, with a plain edge. Cataloged as PCGS #940043. The American Women Quarters Program (2022-2025) features five new reverse designs each year honoring the accomplishments and contributions of notable American women.
