The U.S. Mint produced 210,402 examples. The obverse features Sacagawea carrying her infant son Jean Baptiste Crapeau on her back, while the reverse displays rotating designs honoring Native American contributions to the United States. Designed by Glenna Goodacre (obverse) / various reverse designers. Struck in 88.5% copper, 6% zinc, 3.5% manganese and 2% nickel, 26.5 mm in diameter. Cataloged as PCGS #631126. The Sacagawea Dollar (2000-2008) honored the Shoshone woman who guided the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
