2017 (P) Lincoln Shield Cent - Variety WWHO-002

Description

2017-P WWHO-002 is a doubled working hub obverse on the 2017-P Lincoln Shield cent, cataloged by the Wexler team. The letters of LIBERTY show moderate extra thickness, and the Y is considerably thicker at its upper left than at its upper right; Wexler says this feature is stronger here than on WWHO-001. Because the doubling is on the working hub, Wexler says the markers on both the obverse and the reverse vary among the different working dies it affected. Wexler credits the submission to various individuals and lists no cross-references. Wexler's comments add that WDDO-011, WDDO-012 and WDDO-016, all listed earlier, have been traced to WWHO-002.
