Part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series, the 2016 (P) Presidential Dollar - Ronald Reagan, Position A is a dollar from the Philadelphia Mint. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, while the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. Designed by Richard Masters/Don Everhart. Struck in 88.5% copper, 6% zinc, 3.5% manganese and 2% nickel, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge. Cataloged as PCGS #599468. The Presidential Dollar Program (2007-2016, continuing with deceased presidents) issued dollar coins honoring each president in chronological order. The 2007 Washington dollar "Godless Dollar" error (missing edge inscription) attracted widespread media attention. Position A and Position B edge lettering varieties are collected.
