The 2014 (P) Presidential Dollar - Warren G. Harding, Position A is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 6.2 million examples, making this ranked 15th of 16 mint variants by mintage, with 9% of production. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year and the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. The twenty-ninth President (1921–1923), Warren G. Harding won the presidency in the first election in which women could vote nationally. He died in office in 1923, and his administration was later tarnished by the Teapot Dome scandal. Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, and Franklin D. Roosevelt were released. The FDR dollar is particularly collected alongside the Roosevelt Dime for a complete Roosevelt numismatic set. Struck at the original U.S. Mint facility, in continuous operation since 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $1 to $10 depending on grade and condition. Struck in 77% copper, 12% zinc, 1% other over a pure copper core, weighing 8.1 grams, 26.5 mm in diameter, with a lettered edge. Cataloged as PCGS #526077.
