Description

The 2014 (P) Presidential Dollar - Herbert Hoover, Position B is a dollar produced at the Philadelphia Mint as part of the Presidential Dollars 2007 to Date series. The U.S. Mint produced 4.5 million examples, making this ranked 9th of 16 mint variants by mintage, with 6% of production. The obverse features rotating portraits of each U.S. president in order of service, released four per year and the reverse displays the Statue of Liberty. The thirty-first President (1929–1933), Herbert Hoover was a self-made millionaire mining engineer who coordinated food relief for millions during World War I. His presidency was defined by the stock market crash of 1929 and the onset of the Great Depression. Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, and Franklin D. Roosevelt were released. The FDR dollar is particularly collected alongside the Roosevelt Dime for a complete Roosevelt numismatic set. Struck at the original U.S. Mint facility, in continuous operation since 1792. Estimated market value ranges from $1 to $10 depending on grade and condition.
