The 2002 (W) West Point Dollar is a dollar produced at the West Point Mint as part of the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. The U.S. Mint produced 103,201 examples. The obverse features designs varying by commemorative issue, authorized by Congress to honor significant American events, people, and institutions, while the reverse displays designs varying by commemorative issue. Designed by T. James Ferrell/John Mercanti. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Cataloged as PCGS #21000.
