1994 Radical MAD Die Clash MDC-1C-1994-01

Description

MDC-1c-1994-01 Illustrated below is a MAD clash characterized on the lapel and Lincoln’s shoulder by fragments of the letters TS from STATES (on the reverse die) and also edge portions of the field along the lapel and near the date. The hammer die was rotated about 20 degrees CCW, misaligned horizontally about 35% and ostensibly tilted downward southwest, thus just leaving the traces of TS. This die was found by Jody and Chris Gomez.
