The 1991 Mount Rushmore Golden Anniversary Commemorative Dollar is a United States dollar from the Modern Commemorative Dollars (1982-Date) series. In 1991, the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints struck 871,558 of these dollars, uncirculated and proof together, by the Mint's figures. The obverse shows the Mount Rushmore memorial and the reverse the Great Seal over a map of the United States. Struck in 90% silver, 10% copper, weighing 26.73 grams, 38.1 mm in diameter, with a reeded edge. Designed by Marika Somogyi/Frank Gasparro.
