Description
CU-1c-1982-24(LD) is a cud on the 1982 Bronze Large Date Lincoln Memorial cent. Across batches 73 and 74, the subtype-specific catalog has documented entries from CU-1c-1982-01 through -24, covering all four Philadelphia subtypes with particular concentration in the Large Date series that dominates both bronze and zinc production. The Bronze Large Date's role as the most prolific subtype ensures it will continue to yield new cud discoveries as long as unsearched 1982 cents remain in circulation, bank vaults, and collector accumulations. On this specimen, the interior cud's featureless plateau of solid copper alloy stands as a final-era artifact from the denomination's original composition. Attribution by Cuds on Coins.
